Barron County has partnered with the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (WCWRPC) to develop a bike and pedestrian plan. The proposed plan includes routes connecting Dallas and Prairie Farm to each other and greater Barron County.

At a series of open houses, the public indicated sites they would like to walk or bike to. Suggestions included Silver Creek Springs Trail, Prairie Farm Pioneer Park, and the former Valkyrie Brewing.

The next public meeting for this project is an Advisory Committee Meeting at the Barron County Highway Facilities Crew Room on Tuesday, July 30 at 8 a.m.

Anyone with feedback can also contact Ross Tietrzak at WCWRPC at 715-836-2918, ext. 24, or rpietrzak@wcwrpc.org.
