This Labor Day Weekend is the 101st annual Ridgeland Community Fair, a longstanding tradition that marks the end of summer.
Kristin Huset, Treasurer of the Fair Board, notes two changes to this year's events.
First, the Demo Derby starts at a new time, 7 p.m.
Secondly, there are no advance Tractor Pull tickets this year. Instead, attendees can purchase advance wristbands that are good for the Demo Derby, Horse Pull, and Tractor Pull for $30.
The new wristbands are a way to make the Fair affordable for families and save buyers $10 off the adult admission prices. Wristbands are for sale at Ridgeland businesses, Colfax Synergy, Boyceville Synergy, Chetek Synergy, Baribeau Implement in Rice Lake, and Barron Synergy.
Money raised at the Fair goes towards Village improvements and upkeep, such as the purchase of a new lawn mower this year.
