The Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation (WisDOT) seeks public input on proposed construction for a portion of Hwy 25 north of Menomonie.
The plan includes building a four-leg, single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Hwy 25, Cty BB East, and Northline Rd., and at the intersection of Hwy 25, Cty BB West, and Walton Rd.
The goal of the project is to reduce the number and severity of crashes at both crossings. A review of data released by WisDOT shows that at least 25 reported accidents have occurred at those two intersections since January 2021.
Construction is currently scheduled for 2029.

Why wait so long? How many accidents and people getting killed will it take to change those dangerous intersections? This should be done now not later! I can’t count how many times I’ve almost been hit there!
